Last weekend I got to go to the Banff Mountain Film Festival here in Boone, NC in Farthing Auditorium. I had never been to anything like this before. The enthusiasm of the crowd seemed more appropriate for a rock concert than a film screening. All I had heard were good things but I still didn’t know what to expect. Dominic Gill made a documentary of himself riding a tandem bike all the way from the top of Alaska to the bottom of South America. Saturday at 3pm, Dominic met with interested folks at Footsloggers to answer questions and tell stories. I got there a little early to see if I could squeeze in a little shoot with him. He is a very nice, funny, intelligent, and needless to say well traveled person. Not too hard on the eyes either…
